Service description

CrawlGrader provides a website intelligence API that returns technology stack, security posture, DNS infrastructure, and performance data for publicly accessible domains. Data is collected by CrawlGraderBot, an automated web crawler that reads only publicly visible technical metadata.

Nature of data

All data provided through the CrawlGrader API represents automated observations of publicly accessible server responses at the time of scanning. This data is factual, verifiable, and reproducible by anyone using standard networking tools (curl, dig, openssl). CrawlGrader does not make subjective assessments, opinions, or judgments about websites or their operators.

No public reports

CrawlGrader does not publish public-facing reports, profiles, grades, scores, or assessments for any domain. Data is accessible only through the authenticated API.

Website owners

If you are a website owner:

• Your site may be scanned if it is publicly accessible on the internet
• Only your homepage, robots.txt, and sitemap.xml are accessed
• You can opt out at any time by blocking CrawlGraderBot in your robots.txt
• Opting out triggers data removal within 24 hours
• You can also request removal by emailing privacy@crawlgrader.com

API users

API access is provided through third-party API marketplaces (RapidAPI, APILayer). By subscribing, you agree to:

• The marketplace's own terms of service in addition to these terms
• Not use API data to harass, defame, or cause harm to individuals or businesses
• Not publish raw API responses as public "reports" or "grades" attributed to CrawlGrader without written permission
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-extract the CrawlGrader database
• Rate limits and usage quotas as specified in your subscription plan

We reserve the right to revoke API access for violations of these terms.

Accuracy and disclaimer

Data is collected automatically and may be incomplete, delayed, or affected by temporary server conditions at the time of scanning. CrawlGrader is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data.

Intellectual property

The CrawlGrader name, CrawlGraderBot, API design, and aggregated datasets are our intellectual property. Individual website metadata belongs to the respective site operators.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrawlGrader and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service or API data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
